New Authentication mechanism for iStar: USC employees and students will be required to log in via the USC shibboleth authentication mechanism
- New accounts created automatically with Shibboleth information
- Easy to link old accounts with Shibboleth logins
- Only for USC employees and students; everyone else logs in the standard way

IRB Changes
- Form Changes
  - Page 2: add "post doctoral scholar" to set of people that require faculty advisors
  - Page 6d.1: checkbox for international research added to the site page
  - Page 9: Item 9.2 - Venipuncture has been renamed to "blood collection"
  - Page 14b: Item 14b.2 has been changed to checkboxes
  - Page 39: COI consultant fee language updated
- GCP expiration dates are now enforced for all users
- Amendments that just change personnel get a notice that might be able to do via activity
- CR - Final reports no longer require expiration dates
- Individual Investigator Agreements: study ID and institution name show up on document
- KC webservice enhancement: when adding an KC award to an application, it gives the user more options to search awards
- Approval letters for CHLA updated
- DHS category for ceded reviews now shows up on the approval template
- New email for IRBs to allow for instructions and process description following submission
- Dept/Div approval pages have updated assurance language
- Individual Investigator Agreement monthly reports set up
- Ceded: Always ask about USC/CHLA's role (engagement questions)
- Scientific Review: send email to SR coordinator when reviewer submits review
- Scientific Review: only send reviewers email when they are added
- Scientific Review: restrict feasibility questions to SR coordinator
- Scientific Review: make comments show up while in edit mode
- Scientific Review: allow chair designation and chair review of SR results
- Various miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements

IACUC Changes
- OHS certification icon is more descriptive: It will grey out if it is within 30 days of expiring and have a slash across it if it already expired
- New Non Compliance area now appears in the IACUC PI&Staff Inbox and PIs are sent emails if they have not responded
- Species Section 16.7 (Post-op care) is now not required non-survival surgeries.
- Species Section 3.1.1 - Buprenorphine SR was added to the Sedatives/Anesthetics list for swine
- Page 99 of the formset now redirects user to the main workspace if they click on the "Submit" activity on the page
- Reminder emails are now sent out even if there is an opened amendment
- NCR can now be added for unknown PIs
- Reminders are now sent to PI & Vets flagged for monitoring
- Staff now update OHS dates inside an activity in the user profile
- OHS email wording has been updated and expired OHS are now included in the weekly NC emails
- When a protocol is DMR, Staff Notes now appear in history log and email. The ability for DMR reviewers to recommend monitoring is also added.
- "Semi Annual Report" was added to the ad hoc agenda item types
- Various miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements

IBC Changes
- Reminder emails are now sent 45 days before expiring and emails are sent when applications are expired
- IBC staff now have the ability to terminate applications and a new "Terminated/Completed" state has been added
- Various miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements

RSC Changes
- Reminder emails are now sent 30/60/90 days before expiring and emails are sent when applications are expired
- Administrative Review process for amendments has been added to the workflow for RSC staff
- RSC staff now have to ability to terminate applications and a new "Terminated/Completed" state has been added
- Dose Calculator link has been added to the formset
- Various miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements
